How a sale works here · the market

1 · Offer it

List a specimen publicly, or name one buyer and a price for a private sale — which works even on specimens you’ve never made public. They see the piece only while the offer is open.

2 · Agree your way

Message, arrange a handoff in person or by video, and settle through Rare Facets checkout or any way you both prefer. Rare Facets never forces a payment method, and buying is always free.

3 · The history moves too

Ownership transfers to the buyer’s catalog with the full provenance chain intact and the catalog number unchanged. What you paid stays private to you.

That’s the difference from a general marketplace: elsewhere a sale ends with a mineral in a shipping box. Here it arrives with a documented chain of custody that started before you and continues after you.
